The Old Enfield Charitable Trust who operate the market undertake an extensive regeneration program following years of decline. The market is relaunched on October 1st with the introduction of an 80 seater, all weather food court, and an open invitation for buskers to use the Market House. The market now has 100% occupancy with new and exciting traders joining more established businesses. The water pump can still be seen on the Market Place but the Towns stocks have long since disappeared into the mists of history, with no one being pelted with rotten tomatoes at Enfield Market any more.
